Kualapu‘u Makahiki - August 19-20, 2015

Happy New School Year! On August 19th and 20th, the Ho‘opili program met with its first school of the new school year, Kualapu‘u Public Conversion School on Moloka‘i. We are starting off the new school year learning about Makahiki and earth/space science. The lessons had our students learning to scale down distances from the sun, build representations of seasons, learn about gravitational pull with different masses, and a whole lot more.
