West Side Outreach - June 9, 2015

On June 9th 2015, Mālama ‘Āina took a drive to the west side to meet with Partners In Development Foundation’s Ka Pa‘alana program. For this outreach delivery we worked with different types of moss, they built their own mini wa‘a and even got to work with ice cream! Ka Pa‘alana is another piece of the Partners in Development Foundation educational programs that works with at-risk and homeless families on the Leeward Coast of O‘ahu. The Ho‘opili and Ma Hope staff delivered these lessons to students in Ka Pa‘alana Summer Program.

We always enjoy getting together with Partners in Development Foundation Programs and this delivery was no different. Thanks to Ka Pa‘alana and PID for allowing us to do this, we look forward to the next west side huaka‘i!
