Moloka‘i Middle – Lo‘i: March 14 - 15, 2016

Moloka‘i ‘āina momona. Ho‘opili was able to wrap up its last lo‘i unit with the students at Moloka‘i Middle School at Keawanui Fishpond. The students were able to build their own versions of the lo‘i system from the po‘owai to the ‘auwai and to the māla. They were also able to create their own huewai out of natural materials such as niu, mai‘a, and others.
