Hakipu‘u Learning Center- Lo‘i: March 2nd & 9th, 2016

At Papahana Kuaola, students from Hakipu‘u Learning Center took part in Ho‘opili’s lo‘i and engineering unit. They practiced the engineering steps by building mini lo‘i out pvc pipes and creating huewai or water containers. At the very end of the unit, the students got to spend time working in the lo‘i, pulling weeds, and cleaning kalo.
