Kanuikapono Charter School- Lo‘i: January 11-12, 2016

Maika‘i Kaua‘i, hemolele i ka mālie. The Ho‘opili Program started its third unit for this school year with the students at Kanuikapono on Kaua‘i. During this unit, students were able to learn about the lo‘i and engineering through building mini-models of lo‘i, understanding water flow and water pressurre, and spending time to mālama ‘āina in the lo‘i at Waipā.
