Hālau Kū Māna Delivery: April 23-29, 2014

Our last delivery took place with the 6th and 7th grade at Hālau Kū Māna. They are a dynamic bunch that works well together and they demonstrated their teamwork and pride during the week.

We were fortunate to have Uncle Junior and his wa‘a to go sailing at Kaiona. On shore, the students made star compasses with materials found on the beach as well as their wa‘a for New Island. The waʻa that held the most was over 90 pennies!

The students really showcased their creativity making their star compasses. Each group came up with their own pictures that represented each of the houses and later presented their own way of memorizing the houses
