Pu‘ukumu School – Loko I‘a: November 12-13, 2015

Ho‘oheno me ka ua a‘o Hanalei...

Blessed with the heavy rains of Hanalei, the students of Pu‘ukumu schools graced Waipā with their presence and participation in our Loko I‘a curriculum. It has been a fun-filled and rainy two days of delivery. The students have searched the oceanic and terrestrial ecosystems surrounding the loko i‘a to record organisms crucial to the health of the loko i‘a. Besides the tangible and visible things of our loko i‘a ecosystem, students were also able to test the health of the soil and water of the fishpond.
