Kanuikapono Charter School- Wa‘a: April 19-20, 2016

E hoe! E hoe! Students at Kanuikapono Charter School learned about physical science, mass, and kinetic energy throug the wa’a. They had a chance to learn how mass affects the speed of a boat by doing the small boat activity. Then, the students were able to see how their own body mass relates to speed by going down a slip and slide or paddling in a boat.
