What is this program?

Mālama ʻĀina Foundation will be delivering food boxes to families in Hilo.

Pick ups will be at Hilo Intermediate each month:

  • October

  • November

  • December

How many families are being served?

We have resources to serve up to 60 families monthly through this program.

Your box will include fresh fruits and vegetables from farms across Hawaiʻi Island. Produce contents vary monthly depending on seasonal availability.

What else can I expect from Mālama ʻĀina?

Mahope o Ke Kula Ke Aʻo Mau Ana. This school year, we will also be facilitating a free after-school program called Mahope o Ke Kula Ke Aʻo Mau Ana. We will be providing tutoring/support as well as hands-on Native Hawaiian Culture and Project-based learning.
