Kamaile Imu - Fall 2017

The Mahope Program hosted 32 keiki from Kamaile Academy for an overnight imu lesson. By building the traditional Hawaiian underground oven, haumana learned about the science of heat and the mo’olelo of Wai’anae Valley. ALL went home with enough pig to feed their families.
